Paddle MRR, revenue and churn, for every app in one place
Paddle handles your tax as merchant of record, and its own metrics already do the maths. SoulStack reads them each day and puts every product on Paddle next to the rest of your stack, with the one that needs you at the top.
This connector is in beta. It follows Paddle's documentation and is new, so if a number looks off, tell us and we'll fix it fast.
What SoulStack reads from Paddle
- MRR each day, from Paddle's own MRR metric
- Revenue each day, after tax and Paddle's fees: what Paddle pays you
- Refunds each day
- Churn rate over the last 30 days: subscriptions cancelled after paying, over those active
- Amounts are in your Paddle balance currency, converted to the app's currency
How it feeds your health score and alerts
MRR growth and churn feed each app's health score, and an MRR drop or churn above your limit opens an alert. Revenue is already net of Paddle's fee, so profit margin doesn't take a fee off twice.
Access it needs
An API key with Read on Metrics and Subscriptions, and nothing else. Paddle Billing only: Paddle Classic uses an older API.
Connect Paddle in a few minutes
- In Paddle, open Developer tools → Authentication → API keys → New API key.
- Give it Read on Metrics and Subscriptions only.
- Paste the key into SoulStack when you connect Paddle to an app. Sandbox keys work too.
- SoulStack checks the key, then reads the last 90 days.
Syncs every 6 hours, plus whenever you press Sync now. Paddle refreshes its metrics through the day, so today's figure settles by the next sync.
Questions
- Does it work with Paddle Classic?
- No. It reads the Paddle Billing API. Classic accounts use a different, older API.
- Why is revenue lower than in Paddle's checkout totals?
- SoulStack shows what Paddle pays you, after tax and Paddle's fees, which is the figure that matters for profit.
Works well with
Stripe, RevenueCat, App Store Connect, Google Play, PostHog, Sentry, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Vercel, Supabase, Dodo Payments, Your own numbers, AdMob and AdSense. Each one adds another part of the health score, so the more you connect, the more of the picture SoulStack can see.
