Vercel integration · Beta

Vercel costs for every app, measured against what it earns

Hosting bills creep up as traffic grows. SoulStack reads your Vercel team's daily charges and adds them to the app's costs, so the cost ratio shows what the app really takes to run.

This connector is in beta. It follows Vercel's documentation and is new, so if a number looks off, tell us and we'll fix it fast.

What SoulStack reads from Vercel

  • Infra cost per day in US dollars, from your team's billing charges, with credits taken off
  • Cost as a share of the app's revenue

How it feeds your health score and alerts

Vercel costs are added to the app's AI spend. Cost ratio is 10% of each app's health score, and a cost spike alert fires when costs pass your limit as a share of revenue (30% by default).

Access it needs

An access token scoped to your team, plus the team ID. Vercel tokens can't be made read-only, so SoulStack only reads billing charges with it.

Connect Vercel in a few minutes

  1. In Vercel, open Account settings → Tokens and create a token scoped to the team that hosts the app.
  2. Copy your team ID from Team settings → General.
  3. Paste both into SoulStack when you connect Vercel to an app.

Syncs every 6 hours, plus whenever you press Sync now.

Questions

My Vercel team hosts several apps. What does SoulStack count?
The whole team's charges. Vercel doesn't yet document how to split them by project, so connect the team to the app it mostly runs.
Which charges are included?
Everything on the bill: usage, plan fees, tax and credits. Each charge lands on the day it starts.

Works well with

Stripe, RevenueCat, App Store Connect, Google Play, PostHog, Sentry, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter and Supabase. Each one adds another part of the health score, so the more you connect, the more of the picture SoulStack can see.
