Sentry integration

Sentry error rates for all your apps, with an alert when one spikes

A spike in one app's errors is easy to miss when you're looking at another. SoulStack reads each Sentry project's session health and puts error rates next to revenue, so you can see when a release starts costing you.

What SoulStack reads from Sentry

  • Error rate: the share of sessions that weren't healthy
  • Crash-free sessions

How it feeds your health score and alerts

Error rate makes up 15% of each app's health score, and an error spike alert fires when it passes your limit (1.5% of sessions by default, adjustable in Settings).

Access it needs

An auth token with org:read and project:read only, plus your organization and project slugs.

Connect Sentry in a few minutes

  1. In Sentry, open User settings → Auth tokens → Create, with org:read and project:read.
  2. Find your organization slug (after sentry.io/organizations/ in the address bar) and project slug.
  3. Paste the token and both slugs into SoulStack when you connect Sentry to an app.

Syncs every hour, plus whenever you press Sync now.

Questions

Why does SoulStack use sessions, not error counts?
A count grows with traffic, so a busy app always looks worse. The share of unhealthy sessions compares fairly across apps of any size.
My app doesn't send sessions to Sentry. What happens?
SoulStack shows there's no session data and leaves error rate out of the score, rather than guessing.

Works well with

Stripe, RevenueCat, App Store Connect, Google Play, PostHog, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Vercel and Supabase. Each one adds another part of the health score, so the more you connect, the more of the picture SoulStack can see.
