PostHog daily active users for every app, side by side

• Daily active users: distinct people who sent any event each day
• User growth over 30 days, measured on whole days so a half-finished today never skews it
• Weekly retention: of the people first seen in each of the last 8 full weeks (UTC), the share who come back in each week after, plus a 30-day figure

User growth is a fifth of each app's health score. Without PostHog the score is worked out from the other inputs and says so. Retention is shown on each app's page and isn't part of the score.

A personal API key with Query: Read and nothing else, your project ID, and your region (US or EU cloud).

1. In PostHog, open Account settings → Personal API keys → Create.
2. Give it the Query: Read scope only.
3. Copy the key and your project ID (Project settings → Project ID).
4. Paste both into SoulStack, and pick US or EU cloud to match your PostHog.

Does it work with PostHog EU cloud?

Yes. Pick EU when you connect, and SoulStack reads from eu.posthog.com.

Does SoulStack store my PostHog events?

No. It runs two queries, one for the daily count of active people and one for weekly retention, and stores only those numbers.

Stripe, RevenueCat, App Store Connect, Google Play, Sentry, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Vercel and Supabase. Each one adds another part of the health score, so the more you connect, the more of the picture SoulStack can see.
