Polar MRR, one-off sales and churn, for every app in one place

- MRR each day, worked out from your subscriptions
- One-off sales and subscription charges each day, after discounts and before tax
- Refunds, on the day of the original order
- Polar's platform fees, for your profit margin
- Churn rate over the last 30 days: subscriptions ended, over those active
How it feeds your health score and alerts
MRR growth and churn feed each app's health score, and an MRR drop or churn above your limit opens an alert. One-off sales show next to MRR, or in its place for an app that only sells once.
Access it needs
An organization access token with subscriptions:read and orders:read, and nothing else. SoulStack never writes to Polar.
Connect Polar in a few minutes
- In Polar, open your organization's Settings → Developers and create a new token.
- Tick subscriptions:read and orders:read only.
- Paste the token into SoulStack when you connect Polar to an app. Sandbox tokens work too.
- SoulStack checks the token, then reads the last 90 days.
Syncs every 6 hours, plus whenever you press Sync now.
Questions
- Does it count one-off products as well as subscriptions?
- Yes. One-off purchases show as one-off sales, and they count toward revenue and profit but not MRR.
- Why might a refund show on an earlier day?
- Polar's order list doesn't give a refund its own date, so it lands on the day of the original order.
