Guide
Your Adapty numbers, next to everything else each app earns and spends
Adapty is where your in-app subscriptions live. The rest of each app lives somewhere else: web sales in Stripe, users in PostHog, errors in Sentry, AI bills from OpenAI or Anthropic.
SoulStack reads Adapty's MRR and churn for each app and puts them next to all of that, so you can see what each app really makes and which one needs you today.
What you get
- Each app's MRR and churn from Adapty, on one screen with your other apps
- Stripe, Paddle or Polar revenue added in, for apps that also sell on the web
- Profit after store commission, payment fees and AI costs
- A health score per app, from revenue, churn, users, errors and costs
- Alerts when MRR drops or churn goes above your limit, and a Monday brief
How to set it up
- In Adapty, open App settings → General and copy the secret API key. Each app has its own.
- In SoulStack, add an app and connect Adapty with that key. Repeat for each app.
- Connect Stripe to the same app if it also sells on the web, and your AI provider if it uses one.
What it reads
MRR by day, active subscriptions and expired subscriptions, from Adapty's analytics. Nothing about individual customers. Adapty reports money in US dollars, and SoulStack converts it to each app's currency.
Adapty has no read-only key, so SoulStack asks for the secret key, encrypts it before storing it, and only ever reads with it.
Questions
- Does it count store sales twice if I connect Adapty and App Store Connect?
- No. Adapty already counts store subscriptions, so SoulStack uses Adapty's MRR and leaves Apple's and Google's out. The stores still add one-off sales.
- How is this different from Adapty's own analytics?
- Adapty goes deep on subscriptions, paywalls and tests. SoulStack goes wide: every app you run, with web revenue, users, errors and AI costs beside it, and profit worked out from all of them.
- How many apps can I track?
- 1 app on the free plan, 10 on Pro and 50 on Studio.
